Beware if GPS tries to take you in on Laurel Tunnel Road off of route 31, all dirt road and very confusing; instead take Short School Road off route 31. "This cottage was the absolute perfect getaway for my boyfriend and I. The property was spotless and so inviting. The hot tub was so relaxing after a long day of hiking. The deck off the creek house was excellent for morning tea. The indoor fireplace was also lovely. The host was so kind and communicated promptly and politely when we had questions. House has small water tank, and owner wants renters to wait 30 minutes between shower use. Kitchen is very bare bones - bring your own cleaning supplies, foil, very few pans. My only problems were that the gravel road to access the property is a bit rough and finding the right driveway can be a little tricky, especially if not arriving in full daylight. The directions provided by the property were great but Google Maps seemed to be pinpointed to another driveway for some related properties a couple hundred yards down the road."
