"Lots of authentic, historic charm. Our suite in Orchard House was wonderfully roomy. Comfy bed. Housekeeping is iffy - the coffeemaker had not been cleaned from prior occupants. Too bad there is no coffee service at all in the mornings, not even a machine or carafe in the lobby. The "coffee shop" is woefully inadequate and isn't even open most days. I like the place, though, and would stay again. Just have to adjust my expectations."

"We stayed here on our way out from Austin to Balmorhea Springs. We got there late and got graced with one of the starriest skies I've ever seen and spotted more meteors than I'd ever seen!
