"Lots of authentic, historic charm. Our suite in Orchard House was wonderfully roomy. Comfy bed. Housekeeping is iffy - the coffeemaker had not been cleaned from prior occupants. Too bad there is no coffee service at all in the mornings, not even a machine or carafe in the lobby. The "coffee shop" is woefully inadequate and isn't even open most days. I like the place, though, and would stay again. Just have to adjust my expectations."

"Nice clean hotel right in the main area of tiny, little Fort Davis. We got a code emailed the night before to let ourselves in. Places to eat were right next door or across the road. Note that they all close at 8 or 9PM. Super easy drive from the hotel to the state park, national park and observatory. The only downsides were that the floors were especially squeaky.
