"The house is in a great location, with a short stroll through the caravan park into the main street.The house is the perfect size with 2 large living areas and great kitchen, and 3 bathrooms. The only downside was the cleanliness. on the surface it looks clean, but the property could so with a deep clean, especially the bathrooms. Overall, we had a lovely time and the owners were amazing, even helping us out with an item left behind! "

"The house and garden was perfect for our weekend in the Otways. Handy to the attractions we wanted to do. A lovely peaceful setting."

"A rustic cottage with large balcony to enjoy the bushland where we were joined by a local kookaburra and cockatoo. Small view to the water. Bottle of wine to greet us was appreciated. Main bed comfy. Sadly only stayed 1 night out of 3, due to earthworks construction right next door starting at 8am. Not the owner's fault but should advise anyone staying. "

"We rate the full kitchen - everything you need, the views, the towels and bedding quality. Also nice that there was enough loo roll and shower gel.There are oil filled radiator heaters downstairs, but the additional bedrooms were cold in April. Blankets are available. Upstairs is toasty warm.Parking is tight if you have more than 2 vehicles.Dog friendly but only the upstairs balcony is enclosed to keep pets outside when you are not there. Dogs can go on the beach early morning.Overall it...

"We stay in Apollo Bay every year and this was one of the best places we’ve stayed in. The house was clean and well furnished with quality items. The view is spectacular & the balconies on both sides allow you to follow the sun. Short walk to the beach. Our holiday was just perfect"

We made friends with the ponies and goats and the bush setting and sunsets were amazing. Highly recommend this property. Maria and John were great hosts with precise communication and updates. "

"The house was good but the cleaner's could of cleaned it better before we came, since the owner pays them to do a good job. Personal I would cut the shubs out near the front door and maybe some trees down due to all the leaves around on the deck in case of fires or maybe cover the deck as you couldn't sit out side. Don't get me wrong the house was fantastic with the people we had very spacious not on top of each other which was really good and the owner was great to contact if we needed...

"We chose the house based on security for dogs. The location and secure backgarden for the dog was great. The house had many facilities, but we ate out at all the great nearby restuarants that were within walking distance. The second reason for choosing Bella Vista was the fire in the lounge but this does not work. We had to phone the agent to find this out when we could not get it lit. The web site lists the fire and shows photos of the fire working. This needs to change on the web site.. The...

"A great house to stay in with friends or family! We loved sharing dinner on the deck/verandah together whilst the kids ran around the garden or played in the cubby/slide. We saw a Koala on a tree in the garden and had stunning views! Kitchen/bathrooms all modern and clean, excellent working order. Only thing is a bedside light would’ve been handy in the kids room but next time we go away we will pack our night lights! Lovely holiday in a wonderful place, we enjoyed nearby beach and pub too....

"Our room looked out over the ocean -- a beautiful view. We just had two issues with the room: the bed was very, very soft and when the doors and windows were closed, it smelled strongly of fish. So we kept everything open and were happy for the breeze and to hear the waves crashing all night. "
