"We loved the location close to the beach, great seafood restaurants and towns. The house was large, well appointed and very relaxing. Weather was not quite warm enough for the pool but it was very tempting and wonderful to have it available. The northern coast was delightful and our hosts suggestions for places to visit were excellent. Many thanks for a very enjoyable stay."

"Eduardo was an amazing host. He kept in contact leading up to our trip and offered directions and suggestions to help us with our travels. The house was amazing and had everything we needed. Our kids were in the pool every day and enjoyed the size of the house and rooms. One of few houses in the area with a pool it was an ideal base for our trips into braga and not too far from the beach in the opposite direction"

"We have a large family consisting of married couples and some with children and so we offered it is an open house to arrive and depart when you want over the three weeks that we hired the property in August and it did not disappoint. A 50 minute taxi ride from Porto we spent the first two weeks just using Ubers to get into Viana which is about a 10 minute drive away and the amazing beaches which straddle each side of the town, the final week we did hire a car. "We all had an enjoyable stay, the house was spacious, well equipped and in a quiet residential area with few shops, bars and restaurants nearby. The pool and garden were great for the kids and the metro nearby was handy for trips into Porto. Maria was a great host and very communicative, regarding any questions we had."

"The house is just minutes from the beach. Even in early August the beach is not crowded. Water temperatures were around 16 C. The beach gets windy in the afternoon when kite surfers start. There are life guards which adds extra safety. The little town is cute with restaurants, beach cafes and a little grocery store. A train to Porto runs a few times a day. The house itself has some charming aspects such as the ocean view and the hardwood floor. The kitchen has a lot of useful things....

"A truly relaxing property. Huge, beautiful gardens provided the most serene setting for sitting out under the olive trees. A large pool where you could really get your laps in and lemon and lime trees with an abundance of fruit to pick. The house was very traditional. Lots of space and a very quirky ground floor.
