"The AC never got cold even on the lowest setting. On the main area there was a strong smell, like garbage and it was there for over a day even though they came to clean the room, no one bothered to empty the trash, the smell was so bad it came into our room. The hotel is in a good area, we felt safe but far from the touristy area and the walk to the train station was long, it was hard to get UBER there so we had to walk several times. "

"Although the resort looks lovely it was almost impossible to find. The dirt road in to the grounds is treacherous with the worst yet to come…it was abandon. We searched for employees for 80 minutes with no luck before driving away. It was quite the adventure…one that I’d prefer not to relive"

"We had a wonderful week in this property, set in a beautiful garden with private outdoor eating area and pool in a shared area of the garden. Our host and his wife were very warm and welcoming. Lovely coastline with great walks in all directions. Easy to stay here without a car. Bar 5 mins away with daily fresh bread, supermarket 10 mins walk, and local trains up and down the coast to nearby towns."

"A truly relaxing property. Huge, beautiful gardens provided the most serene setting for sitting out under the olive trees. A large pool where you could really get your laps in and lemon and lime trees with an abundance of fruit to pick. The house was very traditional. Lots of space and a very quirky ground floor. "This guy needs to communicate with guests better. I requested how to get in the day before, then twice the morning of my arrival. I didn't hear from him until 2:30 pm and check in was at 3. I was in Braga at that point and had to go wait in a cafe until I got his email. (It was raining) When I showed up at the place, a couple was outside trying to get in. Then later, after I returned around 8 pm, another couple was outside who couldn't get in. I let them in."
