"Our stay was fantastic. Geraldo and the staff at villa Orleans are incredible and kind. We drove to Villa Orleans and Geraldo was waiting on the side of the main road to great us. He showed us where everything was and the best ways to get around. We arrived later in the evening and he offered to take me to the nearby grocery store to get some food. The property is beautiful and diverse. We spent a day in Amalfi and a day just relaxing at the villa. Even with the rain we had it was still comfy...

"A unique type of "hotel". The room concept with a shared kitchen was great. You received biscuits and coffee but the equipment to have your own breakfast as well as space in a common fridge. "Strange location down an alley, off of an old cobblestone street. Had 3 different electronic entries, an old, tiny lift that didnt quite line up with the floor. It took being sent 3 codes to get to finally get in and there were roll down shutters on the outsides of the windows, which couldn't be opened. We never met a live person and the whole experience was strange. On an up note. The shower and bed were better than adequate"

"It was perfection! The most picturesque view! Kids (5 & 6 yrs) were able to easily walk down stairs to the beach and then catch the shuttle bus back up to the room. Lovely market next door (with the kindest staff) meant we could cook for the kids, get them to bed early and enjoy a bottle of wine and antipasto patter on the balcony in the evenings to soak up every minute with that view. Mauro and the housekeeping staff at Palazzo Margherita were so kind, helpful and hospitable. Worth the splurge...
