"Danby Lodge was an ideal location for a 3 night stay with 12 family members aged 2 to 70!! The house has a variety of comfortable bedrooms and 3 main seating areas giving ample room for everyone to spread out. The kitchen and dining area were of ample size and well equipped. The garden is a delight as are the woodlands and the historic and fascinating Forest of Dean all around. "The property was very well equipped with everything we needed. There were a couple of minor cleanliness issues, which we didn't really need to mention to the owner, but, were nevertheless disappointing. The Hot Tub was really good. The property is in a good location, with plenty of places to visit within a ten to thirty minute drive. Also, there is a Co-Op store, just two minutes drive away."

"Really impressed with this little home on the farm. Hot tub overlooking the countryside was a gorgeous touch and lovely to sit under the stars at night. Hosts were incredibly friendly but not intrusive, watching the alpacas have a shower was a treat! We did a lovely walk in the sunshine to the dog and muffler inn which was well worth a trip."
