"One son and I had a great "meet up" and hung out together for 3 days and nights. I always go up to Lake Lure to "get away" from the flat lands and the crap that goes with them. Since I was raised in the High Sierra, Lake Lure is the nearest thing I can get to "home"."

"Sheepnose Valley is a perfect house for my family. This was our 2nd Labor Day stay. We love the location and easy access. It may not provide the mountain vistas and water views that some other properties do, but you can sit on the porch and watch the deer and wild turkeys and enjoy the outdoors while feeling secluded, or enjoy the beautiful outdoor space on the other side and watch golfers that will make you feel good about your game. "We wanted a quiet cabin that could fit our families in a beautiful yet peaceful vacation spot. This cabin met everything easily. Plenty of space for all of us with several amenities that made our family time in the cabin almost as fun as the activities we did in and around Lake Lure.
