"My son and I usually stay in Chimney Rock- but due to the destruction of Chimney Rock that was not possible- we decided to stay in Lake Lure to help the community. "My girlfriends and I visit the mountains at least twice a year and this is the best rental we have ever had!It was super comfortable and was equipped with everything you need to have a fun relaxing time. I wish we could have used the bonfire pit (NC burn ban), but maybe next time. The propane firepit on the deck was fabulous! The girls are already saying when are we going back! Thank you for such a beautiful place!"

"Second time our family enjoyed this location. Of course the indoor pool with waterfall and sauna was a hit. We loved the fireplaces both gas and wood burning. The large kitchen was perfect for many adults to work in together at the same time-one of our family pleasures. Loved having a pool table, ping pong table and foosball table to use. "Spend two nights at this beautiful cabin, property is as described by the host. Hosts put a lot of effort in making their guest feel comfortable, like the touches , nice towels ,, two water bottles and chocolate left at the counter , again thanks ! "The house is in a fantastic location, you can see chimney rock clearly from the back porch. Its barely 10 minutes from all the downtown shops and restaurants. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful as well. I highly recommend this place and hope to come back someday."

The host was so accommodating!! We needed to extend because of unforeseen issues and it couldn't have been easier. Definitely recommend if you're considering a stay in Forest City."

"This experience was amazing. The hosts provide literally everything you need except clothes and food. Fire wood and everything to start the fire in the fire pit. The grill had propane and lit up one the first ignitor push. And everything inside the cottage you need except food and clothes. Property is quiet and peaceful. There is a grocery store 5 min away and plenty of things to do with in an hour drive. 10/10 recommend."
