"On a hill with a great view. Accommodations were excellent. A bit difficult to find for someone not familiar with the area and non-numbered house addresses. Just ask for directions from one of the neighbors you’ll likely find walking their dog and you’ll be fine. "

"Our room was very clean and comfortable. The location is great with many restaurants nearby. I would highly recommend a tour to Staffa Island. It was incredible. I would skip the continental breakfast. Overall a great place in Oban. "

"The place is right next to the water - unobstructed view. The 0.7 mile walk to center of Oban was nice in good weather but we got wet several time (expected this for October). Public transportation was hard to find so needed our car. Our room was a little small and cramped, but we could see other larger rooms. Check in and parking was a bit of a hassle. "We had a very warm welcome by the owners upon our early arrival, we were shown around the establishment which was in very pristine condition. The building was stunning inside and out. The owners made us feel very welcome and after a breif run down on the layout and expectations they informed us of the local amenities and recomendations for eating out. "I had a 2 night business trip so cost was important. The cost was within my allocated budget. The room was well kitted out. Kettle, fridge, ironing facilities, coffee,tea, table to work at, comfortable bed and a tv. Even had a clock alarm at side of bed and a hairdryer. Towels aplenty and a wonderful high pressure shower. I am sure I have not included everything but would highly recomend this guest house to anyone in oban for a short stay."
