"Lovely stay. The cottage was clean, well equipped and comfortable. Vicky was always on hand when needed and communication was great - super quick! Loved coming outside to the chickens and seeing the horses when we arrived. We had a really nice stay and would definitely recommend/return!"

"This was our second visit. This is a really well-designed and characterful small cottage with a large (and warm!) private pool a short distance across the garden. There are fabulous views of the lower part of the White Peak area from the cottage, and walks from the door or from Ilam - a couple of miles away. The hosts offer a warm welcome. Another great stay. "We frequently stay in holiday properties and so know what you can get for £140 / night and sadly this was not up to the standards we would expect. The cottage is lovely, in a lovely sertting but it is very damp with mould around the windows and mildew on the curtains. It was not clean, the tiles in the bathroom were mouldy, under the furniture were dead woodlouse and other remnants of insects, cobwebs everywhere and the lavatory off the main bedroom was very poorly cleaned.
