"Our room had a fire place. We did not use it but when we check in and entered our room it smelled like soot! We had to open windows and air it out for the first to days. I had a car freshener in my car that I bought into the room. I purchased a candle near by and turned it on in the room. Things were better by the third day. "

"This motel was very cozy and affordable. I wasn't sure about having an exterior corridor, but the location eased my mind. The cleaning crew did a fantastic job and the lady at the front desk was delightful. Townsend is the best kept secretbin the Smokies."

"I am obsessed with the property and the bus! My husband and I stayed for a night with our three toddlers while taking a night off from section hiking the AT. We all slept in the king bed in the back which was INSANELY comfortable. The hosts are a super sweet little family. Our laundry was done for a small fee very quickly.
