"This place is a hidden gem just outside the city centre of Bayeux. Lovely peaceful surroundings and a 20/25min stroll to the tourism hotspots. Emmanuelle & Bernard are great hosts. Very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend a stay here"

"Cannot argue the place is stunning, but arrived there and the host was very rude stating Expedia had only booked for 2 adults even after i showed the booking in French from La ferme de la Gronde that it was 2 adults and 2 kids. After 2 hrs of debate and now at 8pm in the evening we were offered the old dining room and a 3rd floor bedroom not the room we booked. Then found out that breakfast wasn't available which was on the original booking. The lady said she didnt understand me only spoke...

"The reason we booked this apartment was that they advertised baby cots, which I reserved and emailed separately to confirm. When we were arrived they confirmed a cot was set up in the room for us. However, there was no cot and one could not be found in the building. This was extremely inconvenient as we have a small baby with us."
