"We had a glorious 3 night stay at the villa! There was so much space for our four person family (we had one unused but adorable children's room). There is the wonderful Cala Domingo right across the lane (and down a steepish pathway, so would not work for someone with mobility issues). Easy to access all the spots on the east side of Mallorca. The town itself has a few restaurants within walking distance, but no market. You will definitely want a car. The caretakers are absolutely wonderful!...

"We were dubious over the pool size. However, our 4 children, aged 4-12, loved playing together in it and the adults could relax on the sun loungers. Lovely touches with welcome pack, soap etc in rooms. Thanks for the communication via Wats app. Very helpful!"

"The villa was an excellent size for 4 adults and 2 young children. The outdoor space allowed for lots of running about and the pool to ourselves was terrific. The kitchen was generally well equipped although some larger mugs for hot drinks would be good, and a few less chipped small plates. The villa is a short drive from the town of Porte Cristo so you really do need a car, and to be confident about driving on unmade roads to access the villa. "Payment arrangements unnecessarily complicated with difficult system to use as non-Spanish speaker and non-Spanish bank account holder. Some debit / credit cards did not work... Pool was freezing cold (April sea temp was warmer), despite paying to have it heated. We complained to the agent but no follow up Action taken nor refund of payment offered. Very poor. Although this is a beautifully styled property we would not return."

"We loved our stay at Vell Marí and would definitely go back again. It’s an easy drive from the airport. We didn’t bother paying extra for dedicated parking and we never had trouble getting parked on the streets outside the hotel. It’s right opposite Lidl which is handy if you don’t want to take toiletries in your suitcase. The staff were lovely and the food was good and varied every day although there were also consistent options like pizza and pasta so always something for my picky eater 7 year...

"Good, but not perfect. Hotel itself is nice, not 'a million rooms crammed into a tiny complex' which you'll see on the island. We stayed All Inclusive for a week and left 3rd of November, hotel was beginning to wind down for the season as we were leaving, it got very very busy from 31st October as they must have had a special Spanish Resident deal on, for Halloween.
