"The beach was in the best part of Follonica and not too crowded because they only have 2 rows of sun beds.Very appreciated. Check in too complicated - I understand Covid but procedures take too long. They do not allow earlier check in - again I understand - but they could have let us use the beach. Check out at 9AM! "This was a real gem. I had a single room but the bed was bigger than a regular single bed and was very comfy too. The facilities in the room were excellent and classy, including a shower that had a fine array of options and was switched on by a remote control, a first for me! Breakfast was in a lovely room and the table settings were, again, very classy. The host was gracious and accommodating including setting breakfast for me early on the day I left. All in all, I recommend highly."

"The property seemed very new and was very clean and spacious. We did have a room with a terrace but being December and in the middle of a storm we didnt get to use it but I'd imagine it would be lovely on a nice warm evening. It is overlooked by high rise buildings so not private. We felt very welcome on arrival and were shown how to use the facilities. The rooms are above a restaurant which even though they had a party that evening we didn't hear much noise and very local to the main streets...

Excellent, interesting dinner menu Only problem was that if you need to leave very early in the morning, the night clerk cannot check you out! He can't process a credit card.
