Chateau Yering Hotel
5/5 Excellent
"Lovely old world property. Large, spacious rooms. Lots of lovely spots throughout the property to enjoy a wine or tea and scones.
Think grand old bed and breakfast. If you want to be taken back to a simpler time with beautiful details, this is for you. Mod cons are not the go here but I can’t say I missed it.
The staff were lovely. There is not much information in the room about the property so engage with the staff. Our room was refreshed on request during our 3 night stay.
We had some issues with the in room safe. Staff were prompt to respond and very polite, engaging and funny.
Dinner on site is a must! The formal dining room is beautiful and dinner is a class act.
We were treated to a free tasting at the adjoining cellar door. A must do experience with passionate and lovely staff.
All in all Chateau Yering is a lovely property that must be experienced. Do keep in mind you stay there specifically for the old world nature of the property.
Highly recommend! Thank you to all the staff for their hospitality. "
