"We had a very relaxing stay in this beautiful villa. Everything was presented to a very high standard. The owner was very helpful , nothing was too much trouble. Wake up to the sound of the cockerel and Church bells(Sunday only!) - a lovely rural getaway. The “takeaway” fish from Sunset restaurant 2 minutes away was a healthy bonus. Would very happily return here. Nova & John, Newcastle."

She gave us great suggestions for places to visit, including stargazing from Omalou Plateau. She also did not charge us extra when my daughter and son-in-law stayed with us for 1 night in the 2nd bedroom."

"Staying at Ria's place was absolutely fabulous! We had the BEST time and Ria is such a lovely person! Upon arrival Ria had the place decorated for our daughter's birthday with banners, balloons, candles, party hats, streamers, and even the most delicious cake we have ever had in the fridge waiting for us! The place was exceptionally clean and Ria was waiting for us outside upon arrival to give us a quick tour. The check-in and check-out process was very easy and we had absolutely no issues...

"Zach and Marina are charming hosts who made us very welcome. The house has been restored and furnished sensitively, there is lots of space inside and out, on those hot days the terrace gets a lovely cooling wind. Not to forget zacks amazing honey and olive oil, liquid gold."

Since this is a renovated older house, one bedroom is attached to another. This makes it a bit difficult for two families due to walking through one bedroom to get to the front room."

"The property was great for visiting with a car. Was able to access Chania easily for a family that did not want to stay in town. The house was modern and very clean. We did have a few challenges. The hot water worked for 1 day and then not at all the rest of the time. We had been traveling for a week and needed to do laundry and had little warm water to do wash. "Everything about DEZIREE was wonderful. The house was clean, beds were very comfortable and the location perfect for walking around the harbor and the old town. Maria, our host, provided a great booklet of places to visit in the area and restaurants. She even arranged for taxi pickup for us from the airport. If you have a rental car there is secured parking very close to the house. "
