"B&B about 1/4 up Mount Etna. The draw for me was the location; about a half hr by car to the north side peak access (Piano Provenzana). Quiet, secluded, location with gated parking. They have a good system to give you anytime access without needing coordination (remote for gate) once checked in. Very generous, substantial breakfast (cold cuts, cooked egg, toast -- not just a single Cornetto as many other places). Decor is spartan but functional. "Very little separating our rom from the next guests, so sound really carried betwen the rooms, which had children the night of our stay. The bed in our room was also somewhat uncomfortable and you could feel the springs through the mattress. A simple foam topper would've made a big difference. Lovely view from our balcony. "This property is a hidden Gem. Sonia is incredible, immediately making us feel at home. The views are incredible, bed was the comfiest we had our whole trip and the breakfast in the morning with home made treats was the nicest touch. Already excited to come back! "
