The yard was nice for the kids to play and sleeping accommodates were great. Karen was extremely helpful and great communication. "We booked this home for a night knowing that a possible blizzard was in the forecast and I'm very glad we did, and not just because we didn't have to drive 100 miles in a blizzard. The home was cozy, comfortable, and very clean. Our three-year-old loved the toys in the living room. Though we didn't utilize most of the kitchen and other amenities, it definitely has everything one would need for a longer stay. This home and the owners has us excited about planning a trip down in the summer time...

"We really liked the cleanliness of the cabin and our stay was so easy because of the communication from the wonderful host. The location was awesome as well we walked to get on the train and the park was so beautiful across the street. The river was so relaxing to walk by from the cabin as well. "

"The property was not really within walking distance of downtown area. Beautiful house but we went at Christmas time and they had no decorations. I realize they probably worry about offending someone but I don’t think garland on the fireplace mantels or a fake poinsettia here or there would have been an issue. It would have been nice if they had some box games for kids or families to play while staying there. Ok for a night or two. "

"The listing is accurate: 2 bed/1 bath, washer/dryer, evap. cooler/furnace. The evaporative cooler may not be for everyone, but I lived in AZ for a long time, so I'm fine with them. My partner said the mattress wasn't comfortable for him, but I was fine. I used the washer and dryer to do a small load while we were there.
