"The house is great. I feel like the pictures don’t do it justice. There were a few minor hiccups like the hot tub not working the first day and a half but the rental company was on top of it and fast to fix it. The location is perfect! "

"We stayed at this property the week before July 4th, the house had enough space for our group of 18 people, the views of the property and the neighbor's horses were amazing. We especially enjoyed the open back yard area where we played many rounds of corn hole and the tennis courts. The temperature was wonderful for the middle of summer so we all enjoyed being outside. We even ate two of our dinners on the back porch as there were 3 tables and plenty of room for us. The kitchen was great for...

"This property is absolutely stunning! We brought the "matures" and one teenager and there was something for everyone. The only caveat was the code to get in didn't work when we arrived. That is always a stressful way to kick off, but the realty company handled within minutes. And we were able to access with a key and a new code. Enjoyed this spacious lodge for a long weekend. We would definitely stay again."

"Our family stayed here for a short trip to the mountains and we were blown away! The house itself is gorgeous and has so many small thoughtful things (heated floors in the master bathroom?! love!) "This house was just perfect for my family (with young adult children) to meet up for a summer vacation. The house had everything we needed and was spotless! While there were plenty of things to do in the area, we also enjoyed just hanging out and enjoying the house, cooking meals, playing pool, making smores and enjoying the views and nature! It is an easy drive to Boone and Blowing Rock for dinner. Banner Elk is not far but the roads are a bit scarier at night."

"Gorgeous house. Beautiful views. Horses on the property that you can pet. Carport connected. Private “in law suite” with small kitchen and bathroom. All the amenities one might need. Awesome communication with owner. Responds quickly and is very helpful. Donor hesitate and rent this house. If you rent in the winter with possible ice or snow, you will want to drive a 4 wheel drive of some sort. "

"Very nice Room was very warming Felt like home Hallways smelled really welcoming. Smelt like home idk how to put it. Warm vanilla Anyways parking was great Very welcoming definitely will come back. Decent price for amount of people. Only thing was the pool was down for maintenance. Upside was 1 min down the road at the other resort they had a pool and was allowed there due to maintenance. Sucks had to leave hotel to go do but better than not swimming at all. One reason I got this hotel. "

nice roadside motel

"we were at this motel during a freezing cold snap in NoCarolina; it would have been nice to have a fireplace but the heat in the room was OK. the location of this motel is excellent with walking distance to town (in a warmer time of year). Coffee and fridge in the room were much appreciated"
