"We had a lovely holiday at Maison de Bonheur. The facilities were excellent. Lots for children and adults alike. There was a shed full of different types of outdoor games. We particularly liked the boules. The pool was lovely and we had great weather so made full use of it. The accommodation was good too. Lovely authentic bedrooms with plenty of space. The lounge and kitchen had everything you needed. All in all everyone enjoyed both the holiday and property. The nearest supermarket we found was at Ousimont, just a short drive away. We had a very easy journey from Calais to Sant-Maxent along the toll road A16. Our host Pauline was very attentive and quick to respond to messages. Thank you Pauline."

"Absolutely dreadful. The place is not fit for purpose. All very shabby and used, worn out and old. Toilets stained and brown, no kitchen towels or hand towels and only large towels. The place is very damp. Even on a nice day the bedroom windows were pouring moisture every morning. Duvet covers too small for the duvet so all crumpled up and had to discard. Everything is the cheapest, tackiest possible. When we arrived it was full of flies and had to buy 2 aerosol fly spray plus fly paper. There is no proper lighting so evenings are spent in a dingy sitting room with numerous dull small lamps.Kitchen ancient and grubby. I have pictures of flies, Stained worktop, stained lavatories rotten window frames etc. No written instructions about anything. This was not value for money and we were misled by the description."

"It was a truly wonderful experience staying at Les Jardins de Beauve. Pascale was a wonderful host and made us most welcome. The accommodation was located in an idyllic setting and the whole area was tranquil and serene. Breakfast was very relaxed with fresh breads, organic and local products and freshly baked muffins. I would highly recommend Les Jardins de Beauve for an overnight or longer stay. "
