"We had a great (3-nights) stay at Strandhotellet. It is a lovely stylish hotel with a quaint atmosphere, and a short walk to the beach and restaurants. We received excellent service and the staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming. Note if you stay during the warmer season: There’s no AC in the room or ventilation in the bathrooms. "To call this a hotel is a stretch, its more like a guesthouse. No reception on arrival, even though published as open to 6pm (which says it all!!). Restaurant not open on arrival Sunday evening, which I was awre of, but to be told Monday evening there is only one choice of meal......this is not a Restaurant!
