"XinXiangYaYuan Courtyard was an absolutely lovely oasis in the heart of Beijing! The beds were SO comfortable, the staff was incredible (kind, helpful), and the rooftop terrace is perfect for an early evening beer and snack. "This hotel was very solid. Good location with endless amounts of stores and restaurants just steps away. Staff was very friendly. The mattress was very soft, so if you prefer a firmer mattress, you may not like that. I personally prefer firmer, but that’s just a personal preference and not an issue with the hotel. Only a couple of issues. Where my room was located, the wifi would cut in and out if I didn’t leave my phone near the desk area. Basically had to leave it on or near the bedside...

Great hotel

"We had a fabulous stay at the Grand Hyatt. Very clean and comfortable. It is attached to a shopping centre so really handy for shops and restaurants. It is so close to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden city/Palace museum. We ate in the Grand Hyatt taste of China and the food was outstanding. The breakfast was good with excellent choices. Plenty of western food for those that wanted it. I will definitely stay again if we are back in Beijing in future. "

"Very convenient location within close walking distance from the APM mall (lots of eateries inside) and Wangfujing. Excellent customer service, no matter who you speak to or what time of day you make a request. The only minor downside is that the hotel rooms are a bit dated, and depending on where your room is, you can hear the noise from the street (mostly just people talking loudly from outside the mall or street). "
