"Check-in and out was very straightforward, room good size, bed comfortable. All staff were very pleasant, with the exception of one in the bar area, who dismissed our comment about the amount of sediment at the bottom of a small wine bottle as "that's the way it is here". Sorry, not our experience with similar size bottles."

Only couple of issues we had was it was very difficult to find a parking space on arrival due to the busyness of the hotel and very slow service at reception checking in which meant significant time standing in a queue. One of the most disappointing points, which I did not expect from such a high class hotel, was when our beds were made...

"Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express Dunfermline was very pleasant, room was adequate & clean, staff very pleasant, breakfast options were plenty and tasty. The hotel is on the bus routes to and from Dunfermline with a stop just outside the hotel on main road. The only thing about our stay which stopped us drinking or dining at the hotel was the amount of dogs in the main lounge area, one of our party has a serious medical reaction to animal hair which defines our choices in these matters."
