"What an amazing find! This property is a proper little home away from home. It has the most spectacular views over the sea, it is very well appointed and was lovely and cosy in the chilly November days. It is ideally located for coastal walking and is a perfect little retreat to come back to and relax. Anstruther and delicious fish and chips are a short walk along the road. "Had a wonderful week at the Golf Lodge with my family. The house is perfect for large groups. Family room and kitchen were very comfortable and the views from every room were breathtaking. We had 4 golfers and they found the location convenient for travel to other courses. You must have a car as the house sits about a mile from town(which is small but so charming). My only fault was that other than the master, all bedrooms have twin beds. Would have been nice if there was an option to put beds...

"Outstanding place for a St Andrews golf trip for 4 players. Each of the 4 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms are perfect. Kitchen is very modern and well outfitted. Family room comfortable enough for twice the size and there is a cozy outdoor dining area. Walk to dozens of restaurants and pubs and easy 15 minute walk to the Old Course. We even walked over with our clubs on our backs...so easy."

"What a pleasant surprise this find was! We were able to book three nights on relatively short notice. There were four of us visiting Scotland, with two playing golf at several of the local courses. It is very conveniently located near St. Andrews, as well as other little coastal towns. We stayed in The Pines, which was a lovely little house at the end of a road. The grounds were beautiful, and the house fit our every need. It was a perfect ending to a busy 10-day Scottish whirlwind tour."
