It's about a 10-minute walk to the Bayswater underground station, and 15 minutes to Paddington station. "This was an excellent property for a single woman. The staff were very helpful. And they managed to get me in my room early after coming in on an early morning flight from the states. They even called me to let me know when it was ready. There was a little issue with the heat, but they were quick to remedy it. The only negative at all is that the atmosphere is a little cold. It doesn’t have the warmth that is typical in South Kensington properties but that’s a small price to pay for efficiency...

We were also traveling around England with a rental car. Most hotels around England do not come with parking so this is a big plus. "I booked for Christmas to be close to a sick relative and was pleasantly surprised by how great the communication was before arrival. They offered me a complimentary upgrade which was overly appreciated! On arrival, check in was easy - there is 24 hour security. Lovely property, clean big rooms and had everything could need. Much preferred over a hotel. My only issue was the location of Kilburn isn’t great however it does have great tube access to central. "

"The location of the room was very nice and the cleaning was also very nice but I think it is suitable for one person. The bed is really small for two people, we had difficulty sleeping. We stayed for eight days and not once did anyone come to clean, bring towels or ask if we needed anything. At least for longer stays, extra cleaning should have been done."

"Front Desk staff were friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean and spacious and came with some basics in the kitchen area. Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean, light, had plenty of space and a good shower. Staff were ever present and always opening doors, helping with luggage etc. "

"It was exactly as advertised. I needed a small clean place to get ready in the morning and sleep at night. Easy access to the train and underground stations. "

"It was great to have multiple spaces for us to work and have separate bedrooms. The kitchen was well equipped. The shower lacked power, and the toilet seat needs fixing. It would have been nice to have some table lamps in the living room for a more relaxed feel. "

"This was an amazing place to stay. The staff were phenomenal and truly catered to guests every need. Having a small kitchen and laundry was extremely convenient for our 2 week stay. Would definitely stay here again. "

"This was a birthday and Christmas treat so was lovely to be given an upgrade and the extra touch of a plate with Happy Birthday and 3 delicious little cakes on. Everything about our stay was perfect, staff, cleanliness, comfort etc. "

Love this hotel!

"We loved our second stay at Marlin - this time around we even explored more of the SouthBank and loved the local neighbourhood (Hercules' fish&chips and sticky toffee pudding omg). We found it safe, accessible to the Tube and LHR, we walked SO many neighbourhoods in London from there - we just loved it in its entirety and found the price 'affordable' for a city like London. We are already planning a return!"

"Amazing location for the price of the hotel . Beds are very comfortable. Rooms are not massive but not to small. It’s very quiet considering the size of the hotel. My only negative would be the shower isn’t great but your able to run a bath fast. I would recommend this hotel and would happily stay again ! "
