"Resort is catered to families but not well executed. Food was quite overpriced compared to restaurants in town. Kid club area and toys are quite dirty and run down. Childrens waterpark was great. "Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is exactly as pictured. Staff was amazing. A few tiny gripes: there is no heated pool or jacuzzi, linens are done every 3rd day and only 1 towel per person is supplied. "Staff friendly and rooms very clean. Have stayed in Praia da Rocha several times before but never at Flor da Rocha. Only disadvantages, staying in late March the balcony always seemed to be in the shade. At no point, even on the sunny warmer days was it ever a sun trap. Think this is due to the other buildings close by and the shape of the building itself. Other disadvantage, which isn't the apartments fault are some of the other guests. Sound proofing between apartments isn't great...

"Stayed only 1 night prior to early AM travel elsewhere in country. Hotel was very clean, proximity to Faro train station was primary driver for our booking decision. Staff are very friendly, provided us a good experience. "

"Outstanding staff, especially Rubem. Lovely choice at breakfast. Great room with a view of the marina. Treated to an anniversary bottle of fizz and fruit which was a lovely touch. Some noise one night above us; sounded like chairs Being dragged across the floor and didn’t stop until midnight. Only happened that one time thankfully. Air con didn’t seem to work in our room, but not sure if it’s off because of the season. Superb location with great access to all modes of transport."

"Rooms were very comfortable and good for a short break. Rooftop bar and restaurant was amazing, with very good choice for breakfast. We didnt have dinner as a set menu with only 3 choices per course. Reception staff were all very attentive and helped us with advice, taxis and bus timetables"
