"The Roots Hotel was very convenient and comfortable, with a great location. We needed a parking spot, which they provided in an underground garage for a cost of 7 euros per day. We also needed to be near the train station, which was a very short walk from the hotel. And we wanted to be near Faro Airport, which was a short taxi ride away. In addition, there were tons of restaurants within a few blocks from the hotel. So the location was ideal for our stay and the front desk was very friendly. They offered complimentary coffee/cappuccino, etc in a room off the lobby. The room itself had a good separate bathroom with a large shower, a kitchenette with a fridge, sink, stove, microwave and dishes/dishwasher. We had no complaints about the room at all. Out of the 6 hotels we stayed at during our visit to Portugal, The Roots would be rated in the top two. I would definitely stay there again!"

"Great location and views from roof terrace and the room. Breakfast buffet was fresh, lots of choice. Staff were amazing and noticed that one of our party had a Birthday the day of our check in and arranged a lovely surprise of a bottle of Sparkling to be brought to the room. This made an already lovely stay even more special."

"We arrived late in the evening an was welcomed be the very friendly front desk, checkin was very easy using thier digital pad. the rooms are very clean and modern and we has a balcony to sit outside. The ambience amenities that are offer were just impeccable. the restaurant called "one" was so lovley with great salivating choice of food. But the best of the offering is the breakfast it has a fantastic view if the sea if you can get a seat as its very popular section. The amount if different section of breakfast food was just astonishing and the staff all were very helpful and just made staying here an absolute bliss. I just want return here again , again and again. it's just so peaceful, comfortable, and rewarding. "

"The staff at this hotel are amazing! They are so helpful, so friendly, so welcoming! The first day we arrived they immediately helped us settle in. Showed us the beautiful premises and gave us some info about the area, where to eat etc. the lady was so sweet, she was always engaging our kids and even gave them beautiful colouring books which my kids loved. The breakfast buffet is amazing and the parking is easy, safe and free. The area is very walkable and close to a lot of attractions. The room is big and comfortable, we had a huge bed and big sofa bed. There is a really great communal kitchen which you can also eat in. I highly recommend staying here. This place was a highlight of our trip. "
