"We enjoyed our stay here. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and booked a last minute reservation for us at a fantastic restaurant. Gustavo at the lovely rooftop bar was very helpful and friendly. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast buffet was good. It was walkable to the university area we wanted to explore. "

"BEWARE, the difference between rooms is huge. I booked a standard room with a "city view". It had no ceiling light in the bedroom area with only weak side lights. Since there are no additional sockets to plug your laptop or device you need to unplug one of the bedside tables, which means you are completely in the dark. There is no desk because the tiny desk (without chair) is where the TV stands. The room itself is small but the bathroom is very nice and large. I had no heating at night...

"First of all I knew from previous reviews the hotel was showing its age but my view was it had alot of charisma and charm. It also checked all the boxes for me on being convienently located, clean, quiet, and comfortable. Everything in my room functioned fine and my bed was comfortable.
