"We enjoyed a very private and quiet settings of this place and our host's attention to the detaiis.A fireplace made our day, rather night! Cosy and romantic, especially great when it is raining.There was virtually no TV reception - bring your own selection of dvds or use available collection."

"This is not worth the cost. It is basically a farm stay surrounded by introduced trees with the faint smell of cow dung and the sound of gun shots. It may be near beautiful native trees of the Otways, but they are not accessible. The property map provided is out of date and access to the waterfalls hasn't been maintained. Be prepared for long arduous walks and rock climbing to access them. We stayed for a week on daily rates but had no top up of supplies. We had to supply our own soap, bin...

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Country Cottage. Max and Katie made us feel very welcome. The cottage was like walking into Nan's place, it was warm and inviting, exceptionally clean and tidy, and had every single thing you could think of, including plenty of big comfy towels. Unusual for this type of accommodation! There is a wood fire that made us feel like we never wanted to leave. Max is such a considerate host that not only was the fire built, but it included a lucifer fire starter and...

"We stayed in Rivernook with our 2 dogs. Absolutely beautiful location with rolling hills one side and beach the other. Well equipped cottage, comfy beds. Had some kangaroos come to visit as well. Will definitely stay again."

"Mark and Roz’s gorgeous property was a perfect place to spend a few relaxing days. The cabin was built of lovely local woods, with huge windows framing the beautiful views of gardens and farmlands. Comfortable beds and bath, nicely furnished, light and cheerful. Lots of back roads to explore and several good meals at the Perch. Couldn’t have been nicer!"
