"This accomodation has everything going for it for a prefect short getaway from the suburbs of Melbourne. The brewery in Forrest was the perfect stop for a late lunch on the way. We particularly enjoyed the cues. Goats, chickens and sheet. Max was friendly and was there to great us as we arrived. Such a quiet location. We ventured to Stevensons falls which was a highlight of our trip then to Apollo Bay. Both places very accessible and a short drive. "

"Excellent property close to beach and not far from Apollo Bay shops and restaurants. The cabin is spacious, comfortable and homey. "

"We had the most wonderful, relaxing time in Lower Gellibrand, we did not want to leave. It was so quiet and peaceful, we could sit and look at the view all day (from the bed or bath). The kitchen is really well equipped and Matthew was an exceptional host, very warm and welcoming - the local honey, tea, butter, olives and the amazing garden were much appreciated. Thank you Matthew, we will be back again next time we are in Australia. "

"Quiet, clean and comfortable. The cottage had a beautiful outlook, and amazing bird life in the area. A great place to stay while doing the Great Ocean Walk. Lovely hosts. "

"We enjoyed a very private and quiet settings of this place and our host's attention to the detaiis.A fireplace made our day, rather night! Cosy and romantic, especially great when it is raining.There was virtually no TV reception - bring your own selection of dvds or use available collection."

"This is not worth the cost. It is basically a farm stay surrounded by introduced trees with the faint smell of cow dung and the sound of gun shots. It may be near beautiful native trees of the Otways, but they are not accessible. The property map provided is out of date and access to the waterfalls hasn't been maintained. Be prepared for long arduous walks and rock climbing to access them. We stayed for a week on daily rates but had no top up of supplies. We had to supply our own soap, bin...

Comfortable beds and bath, nicely furnished, light and cheerful. Lots of back roads to explore and several good meals at the Perch. Couldn’t have been nicer!"
