"The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. I stayed in a double on the sissi wing with a large bathroom and good hot shower. The breakfast buffet in the morning was great as I left early to walk budapest so having a good meal in the morning was fantastic. "The hotel feels stuck in the 80s. Decor of the whole place is fairly grim. Rooms are big but we had no working fridge, tea or coffee making facilities or functioning air con. The air con turned on but sure as hell didn't do much and mostly smelled of cigarettes. As it was 35 degrees outside that was the major disappointment.
