"We booked in to stay while attending an event nearby, and the location was perfect to get to and from it easily. The staff at the hotel were exceptionally attentive and good-humoured, which made us feel really welcomed. It was an easy check-in, helped by the fact that you can do some of it online. The place was a bit of a maze of corridors when you went up to find your room, which took a bit of getting used to when it came to navigating. One area had a rather musty smell in the corridor, but...

"A lovely stay. Roast dinner and breakfast the following morning were delicious. The suite we stayed in was large, nicely decorated and the bed very comfortable. Easy to find and lots of parking Staff member Nathan and the lady who served us breakfast were both lovely. The cons - the hot water tank run out after my husband had a shower. We had to wait 45 minutes for it to heat up again. For the age/type of building this isn’t a problem but it would be good to give guests the heads up online...

The room was fantastic and had everything you need, tea, coffee, shower & my room also had a bath.Plenty of parking directly outside your room. "Easy check in, on first impression room was a good size , bed comfortable , bathroom the toilet looked like it had been broken for dome time, we did message North gate to inform them along with photos, but no response , crack in toilet seat is unhygienic ! Cobwebs in the bathroom as well Breakfast was ok We did inform someone about the toilet seat again when we checked out"

"My partner and myself stayed here for 2 nights. The pod it's self is tidy, clean, small kitchenette with microwave and toaster, also there is a breakfast hamper, the fridge is stocked with the basics. The pod opens out onto a beautifully kept Japanese garden with Koi pond. Ian and Caz are great hosts and are at the end of a text or call if there are any problems. There is also a hot tub available which just topped off this amazing little retreat. Myself and Darren will definately be coming back....
