"Location is good, a very peaceful rural area, but close to the main roads. Property was ok, but somewhat shabby. Level of cleanliness was not very high. WiFi was broken and could not be fixed. We were charged an extra €60 for bedding, which was not mentioned in the listing. Towels were not provided so it's a good thing we brought our own."

"We had a great stay with our two young children at Armelle and Renaud’s place. A calm and very charming location close to Etretat. The place is beautifully decorated, the beds are super comfortable, there is everything you need for cosy time witj family or friends. the hosts are very welcoming and available. We would gladly come back !"

"We really enjoyed our time @ this tiny home: it was cozy and very well decorated! You really feel like you're the only one in the world with all the space around you. The garden and surroundings are amazing and very spacious. The fact that the house has no electricity was a little bit of a surprise (found that out via another posting), but there is a battery available and we made it work! All in all: we enjoyed our time there a lot!"

"I would agree with other reviews but to offer a different perspective, we chose this rental for two reasons, location & access for one of us using a wheelchair. Our experience of trying to book rentals has shown that people advertising rentals are generally scared of confirming accessibility because it is so personal and subjective. "Dreadful steep, uneven road to get to property with nowhere to park outside property - the offer was to park in the road at the bottom of hill! However, gite itself was wonderful- clean, tidy & every convenience. However had it been made clear about the steep narrow road & no parking, we would not have chosen this property. "Had a really lovely stay in your beautiful holiday home. Gorgeous and relaxing surroundings and couldn’t have asked for more in the house itself. Extremely clean, modern and fully stocked with everything we needed i really loved the little extras like the yummy cakes & drinks on arrival. Christine was a wonderful and super friendly host, greeting us as we arrived and gave a very good tour of the house. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Boulleville and would love to return in the future. "

"We had a very pleasant stay at this quirky octagonal cottage. It is in a little hamlet up a long lane so was very quiet. The owners house was closer than it seems in the photos but she left us to ourselves unless we needed something. The lane to the Le Gibet is narrow but is one way so you don't have to worry about meeting another car going up. Entering the lane going up the hill is fine as its on the right. "My husband and I had a magical ten days in this beautiful barn conversion at the edge of a Normandy forest. It was such a lovely, peaceful place with just the sound of birdsong.
