"The Red House is just as depicted! The beds were super comfortable, and everyone appreciates a heated bathroom floor. The house is a block away from the business area and walkable to several restaurants. I was there for a reunion weekend, and we used it as a central location for those activities in addition to others such as a visit to Allerton Park. I would recommend the Red House to those visiting the town or participating in events at the University of Illinois (c.25 minutes away)."

"Location was convenient, hotel itself was not so great. Our first room had issues with the tv, the rooms keys didn’t work half the time so we needed about 10 for a 12 hour stay. We switched to a different room due to issue with tv, the bathroom was falling apart. Their fire system is also not working properly, so I would be very careful if you book! We’ve have stayed here previously (the pool wasn’t open or even working at the time for that trip, was one the main reasons we booked was the indoor pool) , we will not be returning! "This is a very cute, little place and seriously for the price it is amazing. It was perfect for what we needed. A place to sleep while we visited my daughter at the University. Is it luxury? No but it was clean, cute and a BARGAIN! You cannot beat it. There are other places out there that are gross and sooooo much more expensive. I would do it again in a heartbeat!"
