"Opportunity for a bit of nostalgia when visiting family back home. Amazing grounds and gardens and the hotel has history going back to 1908. We were in good company, as the corridors are adorned with celebrities who have visited over the years. "

"Frim the moment we arrived this hotel did not disappointed our expectations. The staff were professional, welcoming and extremely helpful - they could not do enough for us to help ensure our stay was relaxing and comfortable. We were a large family group, 3 rooms, travelling with a baby as well as an older grandparent. Staff went out of their way to help us even washing the babies clothes when she had been sick! They made us feel at home and very welcome which made us very relaxed throughout our stay. The hotel itself is freshly decorated, spotlessly clean and has many social areas around the bar area that we could sit and enjoy our time together. Bar staff were friendly and offered a good selection of drinks for the grown ups. Kids menu offers good value to feed lots of children! The pool was fab fluffy white towels provided and a hot jacuzzi and sauna to top it off. We enjoyed a relaxed breakfast with a wide choice and selection of hot/cold tasty food. The chef even came out and offered our little dog a treat for his breakfast (so kind and thoughtful.) I genuinely can not find any area for improvement for the hotel or that could have bern better with our stay. We will be using this hotel every year for our family catch up. Thank you for everything you did to help us....we had a fab stay ❤️ "

"It was my daughters 9th birthday trip and the staff went above and beyond to make it special. She was gifted balloons and treats by the staff which was wonderful."

"The hotel is excellent.. we had the garden room which was wonderful.. the only problem we had was people came outside to smoke and you could here them.. late at night and early in the morning.. otherwise nothing wrong.. plenty of free parking also.. will be staying again when up that way.. thank you "
