"We had an amazing long ski weekend at the Great Escape Ski Cottage. The listing is very accurate. Great communication with Shay. The house was immaculate upon arrival. The layout of the house was perfect for our family (6 adults and 4 children aged 4-9). One beautiful Master Bedroom on the first floor. Two of the other equally beautiful bedrooms are on the second floor. The linens were hotel quality! The "Kid's Quarters" was located off of the kitchen/laundry room. A playroom with multiple games...

"The location is beautiful and there are lots of places to visit in the area. The house is nice; great view of Otis Reservoir. It took us a while to figure out the multiple thermostats, but it was a good Christmas house. The owner was nice enough to allow us to have a Christmas tree, and had someone make an extra trash pick up for us after Christmas.The one thing we were disappointed in was the cleanliness. Shower curtains were moldy, some of the dishes weren't very clean, expired condiments...

"Really enjoyed our stay. Open-plan downstairs with spacious kitchen, two dining areas, amazing sectional that fit all of us for movie night. Great fireplace where we enjoyed a couple fires."

"Definitely one of the top places we’ve stayed. I took my kids and met my girlfriend and her daughter to go ski skiing for the weekend. It was the perfect location close to the mountain (Catamount), but the best part was the thoughtfulness of the amenities of the home. The fridge was stocked with seltzers, waters, juices, small stick of butter Creamer for coffee. There were spices, coffee, hot chocolate and snacks. Just having those little things made such a huge difference in our experience and...

"Our family had a wonderful time staying at this home. We played many games at the table and watched the fire burn in the stove. It was a cozy place with reading areas and the capability to get off screen time for the kids. "

Owners are very kind and accommodating — when I couldn’t find a hair dryer one was delivered to the house within a couple of hours. They also offered to relocate us if we were bothered by the nearby forest fire, which was not necessary. I hope we’ll have the opportunity to stay again."
