"We had an unusual stay in that the night before our arrival there was a windstorm that knocked the power out. We were almost to our destination when the owner let us know. She offered us a full refund or to reschedule but we decided to make it an adventure and stay unsure when the power would come back on. "We love the Koi Story Cabin. We were there for the Cyclone Bomb this year. No electricity for 4 days. The staff was amazing! They had us hooked up to a generator and the fire place kept us warm! We communicated with Elena, Ian and Sergei. They were so helpful and worked with our schedule. A delightful place to stay!"

"This property is as good as described. Maybe better. The only things that could have been better were that there was no AC so we had to sleep with the window open and the noise from highway 2 was a bit loud since it’s close to it. There were so many nice touches throughout the home to make it cozy and cute. The kitchen was nicely stocked. The owner was very responsive the view was amazing. Highly recommend. ! "

The weather was pretty dreary, but after spending a few hours on a hike, we loved sitting in the hot tub listening to the rain on the roof and looking out at the river.
