"Staff extremely helpful under tricky conditions. With storm we had no electricity from 8am on 24th and still not connected this morning when I left. Staff put on a log stove in Bistro,managed to do teas n coffees on small gas heater, supplied good battery lamps for each resident, Manager even carefully drove in evening into part of Lanark with power and brought back a meal for an older person staying for BnB, She would not take money for that. Ever staff member there did much more that needed...

"Stayed for 2 nights. Had a lovely stay. Callum checked when we would arrive and greeted us at the door. Had a nice breakfast, which you pick the time and food you would like the night before. Loved the size and decor of the room. The toiletries in the bathroom were lovely. There is some noise from the main road however "

"Had a beautiful stay here and our room was lovely as the lovely lounge area,also lovely dining room. Breakfast was Fantastic and plentiful. Travelled from Australia and will let people know when back home about this beautiful place,owners were very kind and hospitable.... "Terrific place to stay. Well organised, well run. Alan was very friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. There were nice little touches, such as facial wipes, cotton pads and ear buds left out for guests. We had a lovely breakfast, great accommodation and had a really nice stay."

"Clean and comfortable, good shower, and breakfast. Very impersonal though with little human contact. Check in is via a key box, breakfast was ordered by text the night before. Apart from the standard "brown or white toast" and "is everything ok?" at breakfast, no one from the B&B spoke."

The breakfast is very good, it sets you up well for the day. Great advice from Stuart on where to eat and what to see locally. Everything at Ravenswood is spotlessly clean. We thoroughly recommend this great B & B."

"We loved Highland Guest House. It's in a perfect location in a great little tow. Our hosts were wonderful, friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful, the breakfast was fantastic, and another guest lounge had supplies of tea, coffee and fruit available during the day. We found many wonderful walks in the area, great meals in the nearby pub and lots of interesting shops in town. This guest house was also the best value accommodation we found on our holiday in the UK."

"It was an absolute pleasure to stay here. The hosts were charming and attentive. It was fun to talk with them and the other guests, and the breakfast (made specially for each guest) was some of the best food I had while in the UK. The bathroom was pretty small, and the shower was one of those stand-alone ones that looks a bit like a box, but the bathroom and room were always very clean.
