"Overall, not bad but with two exceptions. Really needs a tv and the bathroom needs some tlc, especially the shower. Also the shower room was cold even though it had a radiator. A mirror at the sink to enable easier shaving and the room was rather dark. The lounge and bedrooms both good. Outside, some lighting from the gate to the doorway would help a lot as the steps are steep and the entrance was somewhat hidden. Apart from that, comfortable and good value for money. "

"We both thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The rooms were well laid out and tastefully decorated. The hot tub was a fantastic way to unwind at the end of each day. We enjoyed feeding the peacocks and managed to take some fantastic photos of them. The only thing that we missed was a dishwasher, as this was advertised but not there. Although there was a washing machine which was not mentioned! Would be happy to return if we plan to visit Suffolk again. Overall, a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable place...

"Cutlery drawer smells musty, has cutlery been put away wet. The accessibility is limited, the toilet is difficult for a wheelchair user and can only be reached in a small wheelchair, similar problem with the shower. I use a standard manual wheelchair and I struggled."

"Disgusting!!! Avoid at all cost. Upon arrival the caravan stunk There was mould in the fridge with leftover food which had also gone mouldy Wee in the toilet No gas/water/electric upon arrival we had to wait for the owner to.tell us how to plumb this... after 2.5 hours of waiting. The oven had no shelves for us to cook and only 1 hob worked. We decided to leave within 3 hours of being there once we found alternative arrangement. The owner refused to refund our 3 night stay aswell deeming it...

"Lovely property ideal for two in the picturesque village of Orford. Great pubs and cafe in easy walking distance and a must for anybody who lives being close to the water."

"What can i say It was cleanish but in very poor repair. We ran out of gas on the second day and contacted the owner who was less than helpful. We ended up without gas for 48 hours was abused by the owner who told us off for using too much gas. We had 4 showers and cooked 2 pizza. We had to leave a day early due to this. We had to spend extra money on eating our. Would not recommend at all it is not a holiday home it is a caravan."

"I booked this for our family for a surprise for my husbands 60th. We had a long weekend and it was close by for us but what an amazing place. Thoroughly enjoyed by all we had a great time and would certainly go back - also had a private chef for one day which finished the weekend off"

"Our whole family group really enjoyed our stay in Buoys Cottage Orford. The house had lots of space for us all and the children especially liked the playroom with pool table, lawn for football and firepit. Within easy walking distance were great mini store, bakery with coffee, chocolate shop and smokery. Orford Castle and Quay were a short walk away too, and walks around the coast and forests."
