Winter wonderland with spectacular views
Eagleview is a beautiful, cozy cabin. From it's vantage point on top of the mountain, there is a 180 degree spectacular view. We have rented several cabins in the Colorado mountains. This one tops them all.

Perfection in the Rockies
This was our fourth stay in the Rockies for our annual friends trip, and this was easily our favorite place of all the places we’ve tried. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend. The views are incredible, the house is immaculate, and the road is very quiet. Short drive into town for groceries and a nice drive to Breckinridge if you want to explore that area. I’m hesitant to say to book this place because I want it available every time we want to rent it…LOL.

Ok overall
Could not access the property because the code was wrong, and it took twelve phone calls to get a hold of the property manager. Cleanliness left much to be desired, including dirty underwear from a previous guest under one of the beds. One of the toilets was broken and the appliances are all extremely cheap. The surroundings made up for a lot, just breathtakingly beautiful!

House The listing was as advertised. There was a nice view, and we could hear the rambling Trout Creek below from the deck. There’s something soothing about hearing a stream flowing over rocks. The deck was a great viewing platform for watching the storms move across the mountains. Inside, there was plenty of room and places to sit and rest for everyone. During the nighttime hours, a nice breeze would cool the house down to the point that many times, we had to close the windows. The ceiling fans were used the entire time we were there. Amenities Having two bathrooms was nice. Bathroom were clean and well stocked. Once in the bedrooms, it was like being alone in the house. No noise could be heard from the upstairs bedroom to the lower bedrooms and vice versa. We like to watch shows and movies in our down time and the streaming services provided were nice. Having a washer and dryer in the house was nice, this allowed us to pack lighter and wash our dirty clothes before heading back home. WIFI signal was ample. Given the location, it was enough to stream videos on devices though. So, all in all it was good. Overall, it was a good stay. We had a good time and were able to rest sufficiently for the next day’s activities. I recommend this listing to others. We don’t usually visit the same area twice because there is so much of the state to see, but we would stay here again.

Wonderful!
We loved the privacy and quiet property for a short getaway this summer. Beds and furniture were very comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the chairs on the deck to watch the sunset behind the mountains! Quick 15-20 minute drive to Fairplay for anything you need. Thank you for allowing us to bring our pets to truly enjoy our vacation as a family!

Colorado Heaven!
We chose this cabin for the beautiful deck and amazing views. We were not disappointed. Incredible views! Plan to be at the cabin for the sunsets. We had a very relaxing weekend listening to the sound of the wind and the stream below. Far enough away from the city chaos to make you feel like you are on vacation and truly disconnect. Will stay here again.

It’s all about the view
Excellent view in this very comfortable home. Just far enough to feel away from others but close enough to get what you need. The view from the front and back porches is outstanding. Recommend Rocky Mountain Cigar Company and the Shaggy Sheep for brunch or dinner. This is an excellent place to stay!

The property was perfect but that was only because of the property owner.
VRBO needs to live up to their promises when it comes to customer care. The cabin owner had to cancel our original reservations and VRBO told us they were going to put us up in a hotel for two nights and did NOT do that. I was told to turn in my receipt from the hotel and they would reimburse me and I am still fighting for that a week later. Kevin the property owner is the greatest but VRBO needs lots of work.

Great property . Owner has made an above avg attempt to have property clean and well stocked with items a person my have forgotten. But take what you need, it not just a skip over to town. No idea why someone would think the property needs an update. Its very current. Quality firm mattress in the upstairs bed-no back pain. A bit of a drive to get to the property, but be patient, the property is worth the drive. A very reasonable drive from Denver area for a long weekend. Its a beautiful proiperty with a huge deck view of the valley. We would stay there again! A tip: for summer months, as soon you arrive, get those upstairs windows open to cool the place down as there is no A/C for better first night sleeping. Also, close the windows when you leave, if you travel a bit a ways from the cabin, as rainstorms can roll through.

Beautiful views and comfortable cabin
We enjoyed our stay in this cabin very much! It had everything we needed to cook and live for a weeks visit. The view was incredible. We loved looking out the large windows and off the wrap around deck. This cabin made our week very relaxing. Fairplay was 15-20 minutes away and Breckinridge was an easy 30-40 minute drive away for more groceries, dining, and hiking. My husband was sad because the river looked so close on the map, but was hard to reach on foot with the terrain. Thank you for a great week!

Wonderful stay!
We enjoyed this house so much - we have already talked about when we can go back. It is remote, has beautiful views and is the perfect place to unplug. The house is open and airy, though it gets extremely hot in the summer afternoons with all of the windows and direct sunlight. The house also could use some slight upgrades, the pictures make it look a little newer than it actually is, but we felt extremely comfortable there. Our dog absolutely loved exploring also. We wished there were some trails or areas to walk close by, but the only option really was the gravel road. We intended to be remote, so it was perfect for that and exactly what we wanted.

Our stay at Eagle View was amazing!! We did not want to leave. This house is located in a great spot for fun activities and day trips in all directions, not to mention the relaxing calmness of just taking in the views from the decks. Breathe deeply and relax!
We have stayed in VRBO rentals for several years, but this property just raised the bar! The views were breathtaking and kept us outside enjoying the valley and mountain views. The house was stocked with all the amenities needed from coffee to laundry tabs. We explored many of the surrounding areas from Breckenridge to Colorado Springs to Great Sand Dunes National Park. This was a great location for a home base during our Colorado vacation. Thank you to Kevin and Diane for being so responsive to our needs during our stay as well!

Eagleview is incredible!
We were looking for a special place to celebrate our 25th Anniversary and found that perfect spot at Eagleview. The photos on-line are really nice, but the reality of the place is breath taking. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this place if you want spectacular views and lots of peace and quiet. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

The pictures do not do it justice!
The view is amazing, both to the west and the east. The property is very well kept, spacious, and very comfortable. Our time at this property will be memories my family will cherish for a long time. The drive from Fairplay is a bit long, and with the gravel road, you have to be cautious, but nothing close to being a deduction from our stay. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home, and we hope to do it again soon!

This location could not have been more beautiful and quiet. We could even hear the river far below us. The home itself was as presented. It met our needs completely. The home was very clean especially since dogs are allowed...we didn't see one hair. Our two dogs were in heaven and so were we. The only problem we had was trying to find the place. The directions were a bit confusing but we finally arrived. This in no way took away from our overall experience. We would definately return.
