"We stayed one night in The General's lodge. It was clean and perfect for our needs. The staff, especially Nona, could not have been more friendly and helpful. My only recommendation would be to lower your pet fee from $250, to $100 per stay. I did not bring my dog on this trip because it was cheaper to get a sitter. Had the pet fee been lower, I would have booked the whole holiday weekend instead of just one night. This is just a suggestion and not a critique! It was a great stay!"

"Easy to find. The staff was friendly and they checked me in early. The Gettysburg Battlefield is across the road from the hotel. The Breakfast Room is on the THIRD FLOOR and so you have an excellent view of this historic site. I also love the waffles. The Breakfast Attendant was so friendly and energetic!"
