Great stay with a friendly and helping host Good alternative to staying in Tekapo where prices are high due to mass tourism without being too far (30 min-ish by car) Comfortable space and beds Great hot shower with strong jet Terrace in the backyard (I was able to easily dry my tent after camping) Free covered parking spot Located 1 street away from a laundromat (with automated machines that already have soap) Excellent Wi-Fi Kitchenette available Overall good bang for your buck

Really great spot to stop for a night ... room was super clean, beds were really comfy and location was perfect for walking to one of the many options for a bite. Check in was a bit unusual but easy. Last time we were in NZ, we stayed in Tekapo but it was really expensive this time - I would chose this spot in Fairlie over Tekapo any day. Fairlie Bakehouse pies really do need to be eaten to be belived - awesome!

The Host was fantastic we were running late from Mt Cook and she was so understanding. Rooms were so clean and spacious with all amenities for kitchen, laundry, drying and a huge outdoor area with full dining options outside.
