"Amazing views & room was very nice. Only negative I have is when trying to get some ice for drinks from bar staff was almost impossible. Location is great for the view & main town is not too far, but need to climb heaps of stairs to get there from hotel & difficult to get parking close to the main centre. "

"Vincenzo is the manager what can I say, he did so much for us what a superstar. We were at a friends wedding for 4 days and there were all sorts of things we needed help with from cars being towed and lifts etc. He was amazing!! The place itself is fairly basic but clean. Breakfast basic but the local cafes have excellent and cheap paninis etc on offer so no issues. Very Close to the beach and restaurants. We walked into Sestri levante and it took 40 mins. "We had been traveling in Italy for 2 weeks when we arrived in Riomaggiorie and Terre Prime Suite. Veronica, the most amazing host we have ever met kindly provided transport from La Spezia train station to the Suite. Her adorable son serves as her Porter. "Beautiful location, restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. Lots of stairs on the property. Had a toy room and playground that our toddler loved. Easy to take the bus to Riomaggiore (10 min ride, 2.50 Euro per person)"

"Margherita's apartment has a beautiful coastal feel, and view off the balcony could not be any better. The apartment is the best equipped of any VRBO we have stayed at in any country. Margherita is a delight and very responsive. Monterosso is the village to stay in Cinque Terre and then visit the other villages from this home base. The restaurants, shops, and more expansive space provides for a less touristy place to stay. We loved every minute! Grazie mille Margherita!!"

"This property was wonderful! Couple of things to note about Riomaggiore and Cinque Terre- there are lots of steps/stairs everywhere. This was fine for me but I could imagine others having difficulties getting around the area. Back to the property- the host met us at the train station and our room was ready early which was awesome for us after a day of travel. Amazing views of the ocean from the room. The host was available by text all day and he stored our luggage for us after checkout. Would come back!"

"This was an excellent choice for a place to stay in La Spezia. I am so happy that i booked this hotel. The decor was modern. The staff was excellent and very welcoming. Even the people staying at the hotel were friendly. The breakfast was great as well amd had a good variety of food to choose from. The room was comfortable and I had a huge balcony. I love being near clock towers and this room didn't disappoint! It is walkable to the train station and just about everything else in La Spezia. If you need a place to stay, The Poet Hotel is it! For the people who talk about the strong fragrance, this is a large reed diffuser that is located in the stairwell. It was noticable outside the room, but definitely not in my room. "

" We arrived at the hotel during the night when it was already dark. In the morning, as I woke up and looked out the window, the view was simply breathtaking. The area is stunning and very inviting. Parking at night is available around the hotel, with free public parking until the morning. However, the reception desk offers a more convenient parking arrangement in a dedicated lot just one block away, which I would highly recommend. The staff was kind and accommodating, and the hotel is clean, elegant, and well-maintained. A highly recommended stay!"
