"Immaculately clean, perfectly equipped, well though-out for a super stay by as many as four. The silence was only interrupted by occasional sounds of cows and sheep in the adjoining fields and the call of the resident pheasant. Diane was welcoming and helpful. Only two suggestions for her: a spot of milk, a bit of sugar and a few tea bags to accompany the very welcoming scones and clotted cream would have been great (and taking a plane to a couple of doors that don't quite open). "Three generations stayed here and all loved it. My 5 year old grandson was amazed at the “upside down” house. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Location was good for getting around. "We were looking for somewhere really quiet to spend time after Christmas and this really fitted the bill. Weather was terrible so we didn't make the most of the close proximity of Exmoor and the Quantocks, but the cottage is cosy and very well equipped, so we had a great rest in a lovely setting. We are a 3 generation family and this worked well for everyone. Plenty of communal space to spread out into, good central heating and a beautifully kept garden. "We had an amazing overnight stay at the Annex. Nancy, the host, could not have been more welcoming, informative and helpful. The cottage was ideal for our particular needs - a rather last minute booking - and very clean and well equipped throughout. It was beautifully warm, and the property is set deep in a very beautiful part of lovely Exmoor. Would highly recommend this cosy cottage for a couple and reasonably priced as well. "
