"We only stayed for one night, as we broke up our travelling .. bed sheets were Lovley and clean but rooms look a little tired, but great they had family rooms so we were all toy"

"Stayed just one night, also had drinks at the pub, easy access to Sherborne town centre, wheres plenty of shops, bars, cafes,Restaurants. Free parking if you are staying in hotel, for 24 hours. Register your car at reception. Had bath&shower which im happy to have. Clean,and very white bedding and towels, hangers, tea making facilities. . Comfortable bed. Staff i came into contact with were very nice. Would stay again next time im visiting friends in Sherborne. "

"Service was very good, and all staff very helpful. The bed was comfortable but I was a little cold in the night, as I like to have the window…which was a French window open a small amount. I had asked for a quiet room and this was at the back of the building, so as quiet as it could be. On a negative the towels which were clean all smelt of chips…..maybe the linen store is near the cooking? For my needs this was a convenient place to stay. "It’s very nice, if you can find it. On Sunday there are no buses into Poundbury so you have to walk through the development. There’s minimal signage and few people around to get directions. The B&B itself is quite nice and my room,#8, was quiet with a view for miles over the countryside. Ideal location to catch the local bus to Lyme Regis."

"My daughter and I really enjoyed out stay. Lovely rooms, large beds which was very comfy. Also very nice to have a large bottle of water and it was refilled the next day. Cannot praise the staff enough or the manager who is very jolly. Food was excellent and despite a staff shortage it was excellent service in the restaurant and in the outside eating area."
