"We enjoyed staying at the cottage in Luston. There was lots of room for us and our two friends and we enjoyed having a bathroom each. Our bedroom was spacious and the bed comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and there was room for four of us to sit at the dining table. There are lots of places to visit e.g castles and manor houses which are just a short drive away. Our hosts Amy and James made us feel welcome."

"Great cottage that delivered everything the listing promised. If you stayed during the colder weather we could imagine the wood burner making the cottage even cosier. Ludlow was close enough for us to walk into, 15/20 minutes once we'd discovered the short route... Lovely clean cosy cottage."

"We had a wonderful time. The property has everything you could need including thoughtful extras like milk, bread, tea and coffee on arrival. Property owner is lovely and easily contactable. There is a lovely place to sit outside with amazing views. Hay-on-Wye is literally an 8 minute drive away and lives up to its name of a bookish town. One of our favourite get always and I can’t recommend enough!"

"We booked the property as we were attending a family wedding in the area and we are so glad we did. The location of the cottage is lovely, with a grassed area at the front and paddocks behind. My son was completely in love with the horses, and also enjoyed regular visits from residents dog Bella and cat Archie! The property itself is lovely and homely and we felt really welcome by owner Laura, who came out to say hello when we arrived. We were pleasantly surprised to find that Laura has left us...

"Lovely house just VERY COLD!!!! Wasn’t told about the heating been on 2 separate thermostats. House was cold at night and some people left to go home and get warm. Location was fantastic, house was beautiful. Only downfall was the cold heating, log fire was blocked in chimney and WiFi was very temperamental"

"The cabin was such a special place with the river right at the edge of the garden. We sat out and enjoyed dinner on the platform just next to the water and lit a small fire in the fire pit under the stars. The property was ideal for myself and my two young children (6 and 8, all of us sharing the one room) but would also be great for a couple looking for a getaway in a convenient location for exploring the beautiful surrounding area."

"Our top priority was location in town and family space to cook, play games and spend time together. This home delivered top marks! Ludlow is a wonderful destination, wish we could have stayed longer.
