Every detail of the home was meticulously prepared for a relaxing and comfortable stay — SUPER comfortable beds, large screen TVs in every room with easy streaming setup for movie marathons, oversized comfy furniture in both living areas, FULLY stocked kitchen for easy meal prep, and GORGEOUS property for long walks and unhurried time on the front and back porches. Though it was the perfect place for just two of us to have a cozy weekend, it would also be perfect for a large family. Communication from the owner was clear and gracious. A wonderful experience in every way!!!"

"We spent our Christmas at The Birds Nest and absolutely loved it. The photos don't do the home justice. It's quite spacious, with many large rooms and a few spots to hide away like the front room or the side porch. It was rainy and foggy the whole week which made the grounds quite soft and so green. We really enjoyed walking around and visiting at the bench overlooking the lake. The hot tub on Christmas was awesome, along with our smores at the firepit. Both fireplaces worked wonderfully. I brought my own dishes for holiday cooking and glad I did. There are standard dishes and some cookware but I always need more. The only thing that did not work was the grill but the stovetop and oven made up for it. The host is so kind and responsive. They even decorated for the holiday, which added to all the charm. Our fam cannot wait to stay here again!"

"Lily Pad Landing was a perfect cottage for our group of 3. It was quiet and cozy while still allowing everyone to have their private spaces. The host was very responsive and made every attempt to ensure we had a great experience. We will be looking forward to visiting again soon. "

"Wife and I stayed here for two nights. It was a great rustic getaway. Remote location in the middle of the woods, so expect to drive on a gravel road and then a very short stint on dirt. For as remote as it seems, the cell service was still good (AT&T), and I was able to hotspot and stream on the TV (there was no wifi). Just realize that you are booking a literal treehouse, so expect some creaky floors, etc. Kitchen is small but has the essentials. Water pressure was a little low, but the water runs and gets hot. We stayed during cold fall weather, so we had the provided electric heater running constantly, but it was able to keep the space warm enough for us. The deck is great and we saw some deer and rabbit visitors, even spotted a bald eagle fly over. Place was adequately clean, especially considering it's location. The ladder leading to the upstairs area is steep and could use some better railing, but its a cute little room up there with 2 twin beds. Overall very impressed with this place."
