"We wanted to enjoy a weekend in Carlton Landing and all it has to offer without overspending for a two-night lake getaway. This guest house was small, but just right for what we needed. There’s no oven/stove unit but they have an electric stove top appliance that allowed us to cook breakfast on. Short walk to the pool, food trucks, beach and other spots. The ladder was steep (as expected), but our 4 and 8 year old boys did okay with it."

"The location of the property is gorgeous. The landscaping is beautiful. It is perched on top of a hill, so be prepared for a climb from your car, but once you’ve made it the view is worth it. We loved the floor to ceiling windows and the balcony with a view to the lake."
