"Max hotel was too far from the centre and we couldn’t get a taxi. The actual hotel was quite good though, the breakfast, the staff and it had parking. Maybe in the peak time there would me more taxis ang going into the centre wouldn’t be a problem"

"The location was great . Walking distance to ferry terminal and 10 minute bus ride to station . Have stayed at the Grand Duca on 3 occasions and each time delighted with the view over the harbour . "

Cars on premise are not allowed - but the train that was the only form of transportation around the resort only passed by every 20 to 30 minutes which was annoying. Food options very very expensive for not so good quality and variety. Had difficulty for my child to eat as gluten intolerant. Pools all close at lunch time -...

"This is a cozy place to stay. It’s very limited on amenities (no body soap, lotions, etc..) that you find in hotels. Shower is small, not made for larger persons. Location is close to the port and public transportation. "

"Just the place needed to catch my cruise after flight issues. Simple place. Morning breakfast worth it. Area more locals than tourists. "

"The room was clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom had plenty of space. The hotel parking is just a bit down the street from the hotel, but there is also a parking garage just around the corner. Note that you must go up some stairs in order to access the hotel elevator—not convenient is you are traveling with a lot of luggage. Overall a good hotel. "

"Incredible location Close to bolgheri and bibbona. You can even take a bike. Breakfast was delicious and dinner too. Staff very friendly. Recommend it"
