"Beautiful hotel in a quiet location, with comfortable rooms and a very good sleep. We had a chateau room which was delightful and good value. Helpful and friendly staff, though we were caught out by the fact they don’t staff reception all hours, so you are supposed to let them know in advance when you’re arriving, if before 3pm. A few small issues: the bathroom had a bath with shower attachment but there was no high spot to hang the shower head, so had to hold it which makes washing hair very difficult. More than that, the handle was broken so the shower head just spun in our hands, and water went everywhere. Tricky to have a comfortable shower. Breakfast was not really good value for money; we’d recommend grabbing something in town."

"This hotel is newly renovated to combine old world architecture with modern sensibilities. Big rooms, 14’ ceilings, plush linens and bedding, well lit, and quiet. A short walk to restaurants and shopping. Feels like a family run hotel, with friendly staff available at all times. Great value. "

"The hotel was centrally located to the train station and the pick up for most tours. There were plenty of restaurants nearby as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. I didn't have time for the spa but wish I did. It lookedd amazing. I highly recommend."

"Top notch service. Well appointed, modern, and immaculate rooms. The room was so nice that I felt bad messing up the sheets to go to bed. The site was walking distance to the beach. Site itself was stunning. Even though it was not beach front, the grounds and greenery were pristine even off season. I enjoyed the fact that it was a much smaller hotel and had lots of refinement and personality without seeming stuffy. The service staff was stellar who showed us our room and offered to help with our bags. Even though our receptionist didn’t speak English fluently. She tried her very best and it was much much better than my failed and laughable attempts in French. Even then she remained unflustered, professional and friendly. The hotel does have a sign up front that states they speak English but I feel I should at least try to blend in with the culture. "

"Absolutely spacious, comfortable, and convenient lodging with 3 separate bedrooms with on-suite full baths in the heart of beautiful and quaint Bayeux. What more could you ask for? Accommodations were above and beyond expectations as was the multitude of restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance, not to mention the gorgeous cathedral and the fascinating tapestry museum. It's also a close drive to the WWII museums and cemetery as well as the must see Mont Saint-Michel. Highly recommended!"

"We had booked at hotel la Bayeux but when we arrived we were directed to hotel Normandy. It was a little confusing but we called the number and had no problems. The girl who checked us in was super kind. Our room was perfect for our family of 5. We had Breakfast there and it was nice to sit and relax for Breakfast. We wish we had planned more time here. It is a lovely town. "
